castlewyvern: Oh, Brooklyn/Demona ship, everyone hates you but me. There’s something to be said for what we’ve seen to be Demona’s tastes and this version of Brooklyn. This Brooklyn is bitter and hating on Goliath for abandoning them, and full of rage and the desire for revenge. It almost seems like he wants revenge against everything in the world around him. The revenge part, especially, I think would appeal to Demona’s sensibilities. I think out of all of them, Brooklyn has the most potential to be ruthless. Again, this would appeal to Demona. Yes, Lexington turns into the bad guy, but he turns into a megalomaniacal psychopath, which I feel is different from simply being ruthless. Perhaps with some understanding of the emotional and political conditions in that future nightmare world, this pairing could be accepted. In that context, at least. Does anyone else have any thoughts about this?
